Tim Bondy
The “BondyBlogs.Com” website is being developed by Tim Bondy from Mountain Home, Idaho. It’s main purpose is to highlight some things I find important to living just “off Interstate 84 in Idaho”. I’ll be writing about a wide range of subjects in the coming years but focusing in on local and State business and politics.
About the the man Tim Bondy
I moved to Mountain Home, Idaho at the end of 2007 from South Carolina where I retired from the United State Air Force. I moved here because I wanted to live in a location that could support my habits of fishing, hiking, and mountain biking and I believe Mountain Home has already given me what I craved.
My interests include but are not limited to outdoor activities, getting involved in local politics and maybe starting my own entrepreneurial type business venture. I think a small part of any business should include a website and I certainly enjoy developing and maintaining a host of different on-line sites. My other website called “Bondyweb.Com” documents the fun I have in the great outdoors. BondyBlogs will document what I learn about the political and business fun I’m sure to have in the future.
Overall, I’m just a shy person with lots of things on my mind. I value my non-work hours and privacy more than most. I would say that I am one of the least formal people you will ever meet. A suit and tie is fine for some occasions but I consider jeans and a polo shirt dressing up.

Tim the Politician?
Tim Bondy – The Politician
I’m not really a politician…yet. But if the opportunity presents itself, I will jump into local politics with both feet. My conservative nature tells me that the government’s one and only job is to “help you help yourself”. I believe that the community is the real government and politicians are just there to grease the skid to make things run smoothly and invoke true change to make lives better. Fiscally, I think tax money belongs in your pocket until there is a true need to collect and spend. In short, the citizens should run the city and county when at all possible. But we all have busy lives and that is were politicians are a necessary evil. Someone needs to be there 24/7 to moderate, take charge and make the hard decisions.

Tim Bondy – The Businessman
I’m not a businessman…yet. From what I have been told, running your own small business is extremely gratifying. Heaping all the titles like CEO, CFO and head window washer onto one person must take courage and dedication. Once that right idea comes along, I want to be ready to take on these titles and open up a business in Mountain Home. Until then, I can wade to the shallow end of the business pool by offering people in Idaho a web design option on a part time basis. (more info coming in October 2009). Once I get my feet wet, you can be sure I’ll delve into at least one of the many ideas I keep in the back of my brain.
